its sad to hear this news but, what do you expect is gonna happen when you run from the police. They want you to run so they can chase you down. They know you're gonna screw up and crash, it's just not worth it, instead of maybe a $200 ticket, now he is gonna have a $9-10k broken bike, and a huge Hospital bill, plus what ever the tix cost for his wrong doing in the begining plus evading. So what's cheaper? Id say pull the over.

wow...that sucks. I hope he makes it out ok. I rode with him a few weeks back, good guy. I think we all agree that he shouldnt have been running from the law, but regardless of the fact, he's down and in the hospital. I think he'll have learned a valuable lesson with that alone.

get well bro

Let me just put it this way, I don’t know how accurate the facts are but if I’m not mistaken did he not hit a car while running from the cops? Do we know the condition of the occupants in the car? What if that was your family on their way home and some idiot decides to run from the cops and ends up hitting them? What if NosRavenR1 was in a car and not on his motorcycle, would ya’ll still feel the same way ya’ll do now? The fact of the matter is somebody decides to run from the cops and look at the situation now. Someone is in the hospital fighting to live, his family is hurt and on the verge of losing their son, the people of the car that he hit now has a problem of their own that they did not deserve, and a car and motorcycle have now sustained damage. Think about all the time, money, emotional and physical stress this has been caused compared to pulling over getting a ticket and being for the night because of it. This will now impact other people’s views on motorcyclist, his family may now hate the thought off motorcycles, cops will continue harassing us because of people thinking they are superman and running from the law.

Yes I am very sad that somebody we know and a member of the board is hurt and fighting for his life. I don’t wish this on anybody but I just don’t understand why some of you people stick up for ignorance.

While its sad news indeed that he is struggling for his life somewhere. I can only say......... oh well..

17 years of riding and I cannot begin to tell you all how many hundreds of times this has happened with people I know, or been introduced too or acquainted with. You all act like this is the first time this has happened..... Well it surely isn't and sadly wont be the last. 17 years of it and it kinda makes you numb and allows you to see things from a different perspective.

Just like it was his CHOICE to run from the cops its my CHOICE to feel this lack of compassion for a bad decision gone bad.

sad news indeed......

Hope his family and friends are doing OK after all they had no CHOICE in this matter.

Its all about CHOICES

we all decided to get into this dangerous game and if you or you or you think your safe get a reality check.... bottom line i dont think no one needs you flamers to feel sorry for them but out of respect and brotherhood please keep your oh well out of this thread.

who's sticking up for ignorance?? I havent seen/read anyone saying that what he did was right. Maybe I missed that post. I mean when people are wishing the guy well and someone posts an "oh well" or points out the fact that this was bound to happen to him, your obviously gonna get some kind of negative response with a comment like that. I agree that what he did was wrong and I'm sure everyone else on here, if you ask, would agree as well. Running from the cops is wrong, for many reasons. He did something wrong and I'd say he's paying for it right now,and if/when he makes it out he'll have way more to deal with. He's 19, I'm pretty sure alot of us did some dumb things at that age. As for the people in the car, your right about that and lets hope their ok too.

OKAY, I CALLED DPS AND THE SAID THERE WAS AN ACCIDENT AT HONEA EGYPT RD AND PONDAROSA LN. ABOUT 5:45 PM INVOLVING A MOTORCYCLE. THE DPS OFFICER WAS CALLED OFF BY MONTGOMERY COUNTY SHERIFF. SO I CALLED MONTGOMERY COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE AND THE LADY IN RECORDS SAID THE REPORTS HAVE NOT BEEN TURNED IN YET. SHE SAID CHECK BACK AROUND NOON. SO THEN I TRIED MEMEORIAL HERMAN HOSIPTAL IN THE WOODLANDS AND THE LADY SAID I NEED HIS LAST NAME. DOES ANYBODY KNOW HIS LAST NAME?
