Haven't seen his Dad in a long time either. Shoot me a note when you see them.

wow...i have been reading this thread for the past 2 hours...It always amazes me how people approach a situation like Walters differently.

I pray that Walter is doing well, and enjoying his loved ones.

Man I think back and remember what it was like when I first started riding.
Things I thought I knew, things I thought I could do without.
I've learned alot over the last couple of years from threads like this and MH in general.

I never met Walter, but I'm glad he was able to come out of all this alive.
Be safe out there guys.

Thank You All. I am so happy that this support network was here for me and my family all the well wishes, kind words and visits where most wonderful. Walter had a friend who visited him so very much Bobby. All, this Bobby is a very special guy with a huge HUGE Heart who, if you run across him he deserves a great pat on the back and if I knew how to get ahold of him a big hug and Thank You! So Bobby if your out there Bless You and Thank You so much!
As far as Walter's Father Wally he does not ride no more. Two weeks after Walter was released from TIRR Rehab Wally was hit while sitting still waiting to make a left hand turn by a young fellow ridding his fathers BUSA. Long and short the young kid who hit him was fine but Wally suffered TBI and road rash. So I stayed home attempting to work Rehab Magic on both I did the best I can. Year later Wally bought another bike and on one of his 149 trips hit a baby deer who jumped into the road, he did power through it never went down but the bike was totaled and well I think that was enough for now. I myself miss ridding but think its just time for a small break before anything else gets broken. Wally and I now live in Houston and Walter and his family should be comming home to live here at the end of August of 2012. We where born and raised in Chicago but its Houston that is our HOME.
A Great Fellow that I met at TIRR Rehab once told me: The Lord does not give you more than you can handle. I just wish at times he did not Trust Me so much.
Stay safe and wear a helmet!
Bless,
Sherry
