finish line crash

saw this when i was watching the helmet cam wheelie crash bentgixxer posted...


so who wins this race? the guy in the white becuase he's still attached to his bike? or the guy in the orange even though he's 3 feet from his bike and his bike is flying through the finish line upside down?

It looked like the other bike (if that's what he hit) was nearly stationary. He was going WAY faster after the race was over then whoever/whatever he hit, or at least it would appear.

This is how accidents happen, the guy that got hit was in 1st place BUT he hadnt crossed the line yet and was celebrating too early I believe and the 2nd place guy was racing to the line, the first place guy shouldnt have slowed down soo much and also shoulda got off the racing line, he hadent finished yet, and the other guy shoulda went around him, so 2 wrongs caused this, norminally I would say the guy who hit the first guy was the cause, but in this case I think the first guy was more at fault , tough call, just my .02

there's a line at the back of the grid. is it possible that the finish line is in a different spot than the starting line at the front of the grid?

if so the guy on the orange bike was prolly a lap down trying to catch up and the guy on the white bike got hit AFTER he finished.
