Riding shoes, what are you wearing?

Looking into getting some riding shoes. Something I can wear while walking around the campus at school as well as comfortable for walking around a mall or playing at a pool hall. Suggestions?

i wear teh ones that tiatool posted, i love them and wear them often. saves me wear on tear on my sidi's which i save for aggressive back roads riding now. the one o ones are a bit stiff at first, and have to break in but they are better protection than regular shoes and pretty comfortable to wear all day.

I used to wear Icon Motoheads. They did the trick and for some reason the quality of them was great. I would still be wearing them if they didn't wash away in Ike.

Currently I wear A* Supertechs. Uh I wouldn't recommended them for any kind of walking for long distances...I mean they are comfy but not shoe like comfy.

I am currently looking into touring style boots for street duty.

I wear Icon Standards. They're pretty big and heavy, but they're not uncomfortable for everyday walking around.

How's the protection in the ankle area? Any good? I have been contemplating those (as well as some fieldsheer boots).

do you own a pair of doc martins??

I went down at about 75 mph and slid/rolled 100+ feet on cement and the boots def took a beating but were total troopers....(just a cheap fix if u already own a pair).... If not, the boys above made good suggestions...
