I bought my Sharskinz for my 06 R6 from sportbiketrackgear.com. Also tried a different brand also this year and ordered Armour Bodies through them also. FYI, they have a video on theyre website of installing Armour Bodies out of the box in 30 minutes on an 07 R6, so might check out theyre review and install of product.

Hate to see the bike got rashed man, atleast you are ok.

I was directly beside you, glad I was on the inside of you and not the out side, or I would have been a bowling pin.

I am just telling you what I saw from 10' away. You had ALOT of lean angle on that left turn. I dont know if you gave it too much throttle or if your bike slid out.

If you get off the bike a little more, you can keep the bike more upright, in turn have more surface of the tire on the pavement. Probably would have prevented your lowside. Furthermore, I always try to make sure my tires are warm before cornering.

Anyway, glad you are ok. Could have been ALOT worse.

and HUGE props for knee pads!!! wooooooooooo hoooooooooooo!!

I was on the ride.

It was a two lane left turn, under an overpass. I was in the inside lane, he was directly beside me in the right lane.

i was directly behind him. i was in disbelief of what i had just witnessed too because he just got that thing after taking such a long hiatus. he wasnt going very fast so when it was sliding i wasnt too worried but when it hit the curb i was like . but it held up pretty well and we're all glad he was ok.

thanks for hoppin off and checkin on me

Yeah, I definitely did lean into that turn pretty good, and I definitely felt my back tire slide out FAST from under me, so I'm assuming I blipped the throttle... if not then I don't know what happened. Cold tires??? ehhh, I wasn't going too fast, so I don't know.

I can't even believe how ironic it is that I woke up early on a Sunday morning for the first time in a LLLOOOONNNNNGGGG time and went to cycle gear to get knee gaurds.

I felt SO good on the bike I felt so much more comfortable with those under my jeans, it was funny. Thank for those too, my knee would of probably been rashed pretty nasty.

Thanks again guys for the concern, I'm fine and I'm gonna just turn this bike into a track bike and hopefully pick up another one before summer is over

And ****in SSUUUCCKKK that I just got this after not having a bike for about a year

But I am greatful because it could of been at an infinitely worse spot, and/or speed... also, others had runoffs on the ride? I hope it wasn't anything too serious, I didn't even get to Crabb Rd

I just checked to make sure, it isn't

I already took all the plastics off, looks like nothing ever happened , minus the slightly rashed crank case and bent clutch lever.

Already ordered Armour Bodies race bodies, and another pazzo clutch lever.

Should receive my 520 chain kit,SS brake lines, and Vortex rearsets by Thursday, so hopefully I can turn her into a track bike by the middle of March

Just got home from the ride. bro I was in front of you and heard the tire squeel and turn around and you werent there. Soooo glad nothing serious came out of it. Intersection are not exactly the safest place. Seems like you have a good atitude towards what happened. Thats good. Theres no use to beat yourself about it.
