it was an awesome race! the bike held up great for the entire race. I want to thank Jet, Chris, Jolene, Henry, and everyone else that worked the pits for us. And anyone that was cornerworking...it was an active race for you guys.

It was a good race James! Thanks for the ride bro!

i feel like someone beat my body with a baseball bat!! my shoulders are so stiff right now..

The race was declared a "wet race" not many had rain tires but we all gridded up took off anyway.

I signed up for one sprint race, we gridded, took off and then it started raining, a crash or two had a couple of the other riders slow down a bit and i have to admit, i was a bit spooked by it as well but i decided to go for it, (crash or podium) well after passing two people into 3rd position, i was exiting T2 and BAM, the bike started sliding, i thought it was going to be a low side but then the bike started sliding the other direction, nothing i could do and then it launched me into the air, i landed straight on my head (this is good for an immediate headache by the way) tumbled, rolled, slid and stopped, i found my wits and got up ran to pick up the bike but she didn't want to start, took me maybe a minute to get it started again then i took off chasing again. i finished one lap down but i finished the race at least.

for the 5 hour endurance, cliff started the race and was looking good till he crashed luckily it was just a low side. tons of crashes between turns 1 and 2, lots of casualties yesterday, we seen bikes go down get back up and keep going we seen bikes go down and come apart. by the end of the first hour we were in 3rd place, then on to the 2nd hour, cliff and i had a couple more crashes between us (all in turn 2) don't hit the patches when it's wet, we were finally sitting in 2nd place. on into the 3rd hour the rain had quit haunting us but the track was still wet, we concentrated on NOT crashing any more and we didn't times were dropping and laps were getting made with out flaws, we did our best for the first race, and ended up with a solid 3rd place in class and a 14th over all.

I also would like to thank all of our sponsors who jumped on board to help us make this year the best it can possibly be.

thanks to Lone Star Trackdays for the track time, the help and support, to KTMracer and Sport cycles of Houston for providing us with bad bad bike and a solid motor, thanks to all of the corner workers who were there to help us get back on our bikes and make sure that we were all safe, thanks to Jet, Romeo, Jolene (hotnanas girlie) henry (sbk) and the various others who were there to check on us, help out and give us moral support.

gotta go soak these old bones now.
