PC3, Install myself?

How many of you installed your own PC3?

I don't feel like spending the money to get someone else to put it on,and I'd rather be able to say I did it myself. I've done my own simple mods like new headers and exhaust, blinkers, tail light...but I know this is different.

Was it hard? Easy? How long did it take you?

Thanks for your insight guys.

That I would leave to the pros, you are on the south side, go see Sunny.

Besides the installation you need to map it and I don't think it is that easy.

Yah, but that is my biggest problem right now, i can't find a map for it.

I have an '07 r6 with mjs headers and a termignoni gp slip on...only map on PC's website is for a "European" model full termignoni exhaust...

you spent near 250 for the pc3, do yourself a favor and spend 200 more for a dyno tune.

Everyone always buys the ****ing custom parts for there bikes, yet wont custom tune it.

Installed it myself...took 25-30mins. Very easy to do. If you don't feel comfortable, I also recommend Sunny.

This thread from the R6 forum might help you out. Possibly find a custom map for your setup.

A word of caution: A bad map can SERIOUSLY screw your engine.

Yeah, there isn't much difference between the hardware. Might actually be a better map since the enviromental regulations are a bit lax over there.
