me too...or i would tell gary "hey, that one right there doesnt know anyone, go get him " we ve done that before....im a pretty shy person so its hard for me to walk up and intro myself to a group that obviously all knows eachother. im glad i met the people i did because i like meet n greets now and have met alot of good people.

ummmm....sorry bout your luck man. I'm one the most shy people i know and let me tell you - the west side peeps NEVER made me feel left out when i first started coming around. they are some good folks, so give it another shot before you start peeps!

i wasn't there last night so i can't speak for anyone there. I've cleared my chedule for next Thursday night so hopefully you will be back out to give everyone a nother chance since i'm sure there will be another EZ meet

As for the SE side, sure go. Take a gun for the locals and a gas mask for the air quality. You'll love it.

Thats because YOU had people you knew and a friends that you were meeting there. P.R. Papi apparently knew no one. Its much more intimidating to be a new guy in a new town walking up to a group of bikers than it is to be YOU who already knows everyone and is accepting to talk to the new guy. Do you see the difference there?

It happens sometimes. Even the welcoming SE group has had 2 people in the last 3 years say otherwise.

Funny you should mention that. I usually roll out in my cage when I go to the meets down here. When DyLon didn't have a bike he led one of our rides in his Tacoma

I respect anyone who has enough sense to start out riding by riding a starter bike. It means a level head and those kind of people are who I prefer riding with. Idiot squids are the no.1 reason I dont do the social bike thing anymore and wont ever again. Good luck to you.

Hey P.R.

The first M&G that I went to on the SE side was one that I organized. I didn't have a LOT of people that talked to me that first time, but I started conversations with a few people, then we started PMing and riding together. Now there aren't a whole lot of people that regularly go to the SE M&Gs that don't at least know who I am and I'm friends with a lot of them. I haven't met anyone yet with MH that I haven't liked. Just remember that for the most part, sport bike riders are different than Hardley riders or cagers. Most have huge egos and are up for a party. They get to know peeps and hang with them a lot. Down here in the dirty south, we beez friendly to everyone! We have a M&G scheduled for next Thursday at the Hooter's on 45 and Nasa Rd 1. Come on out and say hi. We'll all have a brew with ya!

Anything that does 0 - 60 quicker than a Vette isnt a starter. And I do believe Switch and other's 650's do that...quite well.
