Codymacs Curb Adventure-Status thread.

To seperate Cody curb bouncing adventure from the street bound blue angel wannabe's wipeout, let's put the well wishes, status updates and general love for Cody in this thread... and leave the other threads for the misc dedicated to the squids and their vanishing entourage.

Wednsday night we were riding home and he had a bad accident after hitting a median at 65mph and flipping off his bike.

Wednsday night around midnight, Cody and I where on our way home from ASI when we almost missed our exit to onto 59N, we were in the 45N lane and needed to get over so we both went to get around an 18wheeler and little did we know there was no room for us to get by and Cody struck a median and sent him flipping in the air. He landed directly on his back and slid down 59N nearly missing getting ran over by the same 18wheeler. I pulled to the shoulder and ran over to find Cody up walking around like nothing happend. But Cody was in bad shape, fractured ankle, concusion, and everything below his waste is rashed and even his arms. The ambulance came and took him to the ben tuab trama center where he stayed over night. He was released early this morning and is at home in bed, upset, but still alive.

I have seen alot of motorcycle crashes in my 4 years of riding and when I looked back and saw Cody hit the median and fly into oncoming traffic I thought he was a goner. That's the luckiest crash I've ever seen and was watching over him last night.

The irony of this story is we wernt even speeding, we were going the posted speed and riding very conservative. It could happen to anyone.

Aproximate speed of impact- 65mph

Cody is in alot of pain and could use some prayer

-Adam

And a big thanks to GRIFF for helping get the bike off the road and into his truck

Good job Ulric. I think the other thread went from people talking about the other guys riding dumb to people confusing it as cody bashing. Get well soon Cody.

That median is a surprise, to say the least, if you don't know it's there. This is the spot? I have hopped over it at least 10 times when traffic on 45 or 59 was worse than I expected. Get well soon Codymac, you lucky dog! I'd vote to make all curbs round, worldwide.
