the light at Clay and Eldrige is like that if you want to turn left onto clay, it'll never change unless a car comes behind you, if theres no car behind you then its not real busy i just go when the intersection is clear, no biggie.

run it. get a magnet designed to trigger the traffic loop sensor, install it on the lowest point of your bike and read the directions.

look at the groove in the pavement where they cut into it. whenever i ride right on that line the light changes 99.99% of the time. the other .01% i run that bish.

you can also sometimes get away with locking up your back tire as you roll over the sensor pad (cut out loooking section of pavement) that works the me at some lights.

I used to own a 3M MIRT transmitter. Now those work.

Typicaly I wait for it to cycle to be certain then I either run it with caution or if its a turning lane go straight on the next green straight and U-turn.

However I have read that you can put your kick stand down and it helps.
Never tried it but it kind of make sense that it could help couple a magnetic field (If that is the trigger mechanism) from the sensor to your bike.
