'cheap' gps tracking and u...

With the rash of accidents this week, people wondering 'who' it might be etc... I thought i'd toss this out there.

Many phones etc today are gps capable... while not necessarily advertised, many of capable of gps tracking. As an example, I pay 5$ a month fee...and certain family members & friends have access to a site they can use to pull the location of my cell phone (which usually is in my pocket).

While not an ideal solution, or perfect... it's a possible tool/utility for people to check on friends/family.

So why was your phone on the SW side for 2 hours when you said you were riding with your buddies?

If you were stuck in traffic, how was your phone stuck at the strip club?

Since you're close to Walmart, why don't you stop in for cereal and tampons?

and so forth.

I think I'd rather quietly and anonymously bleed to death surrounded by strangers than deal with that on a regular basis. At the very least, I'd have to tell the wife we can only afford 2 hrs/month of tracking time.
