+1. I agree. It is not like you were guessing if they wanted to steal a bike. You said that you saw them pick it up. I would have walked by and got their licence plates. Regardless of wether it was a bike or car, I'd still have gotten their plate and called the po-po. Most of us work too hard for what we got for some asshat to come along and steal it. I would'nt have sat and watched it and thought "wow is this really happening". It'd of been more like "MF's jackin someone's ride, call the PO-PO on them"

+1 thieves should be caught red handed no matter if it's a car or bike.

honestly tho. if he had gotten the plates and turned them in, what could/would the cops have done about it? they didnt get the bike.
