Invisible. Don't get touchy, this is only discussion. Then you wonder where the term war of words comes from. People can master the use of words, so they want to go to war instead.

I'm have NEVER on this forum try to protray like I'm perfect. I take true exit ramps faster than 35mph all the time. But the fact remains that those YELLOW SIGNS are ADVISORY SIGNS according to the FHWA Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices. And since the advice cost as much as it cost to install the sign, then responsibility should be accepted when something goes wrong due to driver/rider error. Either take the advice on any yellow sign or pay the piper.

Then you can correct me here, if you are going northbound on 59 from the galleria; Kirby is nowhere near the 59 and 45 intersection. Also, there is NOT an exit ramp from 59N to I-45. All northbound ramps to I-45 are from SH288. You had to exit off of 59 onto 288 and then get on I-45.

So which ramp were y'all taking. Also, I don't think I have ever seen a ramp to a freeway that doesn't have an advisory speed limit that is lower than the mainlanes.
mr. inspector...

if you are headed northbound on 59 about 3 miles north of kirby, 45n is a 2 lane interchange to the left. 59 continues with a slight veer to the right. if you are too deep into 45 by then and try to cut over to 59 there is a curb like median. i just passed it. codys cap is still on the shoulder.

i'm guessing you're new to the houston area, and if not, then never seen the particular spot everyone is talking about. it's not an exit, therefor there's no suggested "exit" speed. it's a freeway that splits into two, and there's a curb in the middle between those two freeways.

Seriously though, usually they don't need to tear down and rebuild an entire bridge to fix a bump.
