My Ohlins survived just fine. Right out there in front. Works great!

And like $200 cheaper than the others.

Need help with steering damper

SOLD!!! It looks like it survived a pretty nasty crash. Ohlins is the one I was leaning towards and with that image I think they just got a sale.

Scotts rotary.
They hold up the best, have the best overall quality and performance in my experience.

FWIW, Ohlins makes a race damper and a street damper.
They're 2 different p/n's and 2 different prices.
The ones most dealers sell out of the Parts Unlimited book is a street damper.

I really like Ohlins products, but their dampers leave a bit to be desired on a race bike.

I like the Ohlins because it uses the stock mounting point and you never have to move it to get in the air box or anything. I used to get terrible head shake. even on the freeway, if I would just give the throttle a good twist going straight, the head would shake like crazy. The Ohlins cured most of that.
