Stoner Considers Shutting It Down

Alrova has been spotted high bridges to jump off.

I don't think he would actually shut it down, but someone in Australia seems to think it is a possibility.

GO NICKY!!

That would be a shocker. What a terrible reason to have to back out for the season.

Great find, btw, Joe.

Mind games is my interpretation of this,
He's trying to get in Rossi's head.
He went fastest at the last test with that wrist, faster than last years pole by half a second and he's talking about the pain and changing his style etc!!!!
Time will tell I guess

dang. i hope things get better for him. stoner always seems to have the right attitude, no huge ego, not trying to be mr flashy biker boy, etc.

and you thought ducs were expensive before...lol, i bet they double the price to buy so they can afford to buy stoner a new forearm on the black market.

+1 This is just racing politics. Stoner can ride with the injury......apparently.

A lot of athletes do it. They try to downplay their abilities before a new season, to lower any expectations from their rivals. Plus, if Rossi whoops his rear again, then he can always say, "It was my hand".

I would like to make clear that I'm not trying to say he doesn't have an injury. I think we all can agree that when you have a "get-off" at their speeds, something will more then likely break. But he has shown that the injury isn't much of a problem.......given his test times.

In fairness he's also saying that race distance at pace are his biggest problem. He didn't run any race simulations at the last test!!
Still sounds very Foggyesque (spelling) to me though

That does make a lot of sense though. 25+ laps at their pace is probably like running a marathon for us peons. A couple of hot laps at MSRH and I'm screaming to my girlfriend to find the advil and IcyHot.

It's going to be an interesting year. I hope he stays and recovers before the start. Rossi needs someone up there with him.

I dont think any of them even stoner can get into rossi's head, that is the whole deal with him he is always collected and calm regardless of who he's riding with or against.

Poor Ducati without Stoner they dont have a chance. Sorry Nicky fans... Once he shows he can even podium more then twice on a bike that's not 990cc's I'm not going to put him in the same league as any of the greats again.
