Is this bad form?

I mean, does he REALLY need to be touching his knee???

I found this pic on another forum, and I'm just curious. I really feel like I have leaned my bike over way more with my knee tucked up against the tank...

What do you think? I don't know much, I haven't done a track day yet , but I will soon.

He's reaching.

But his whole torso is over the midline.

His entire is off the seat, that unnessasary. In most cases you want to have 1 cheek on the seat and 1 cheek off the bike, the edge of your seat should be in you crack (lol)

But like Cali said, he's reaching

All and all he has great form, but he's hanging off a bit to much

In alot of cases, the smaller you are the more you need to get off. Gotta put that weight somewhere lol

i say BAD FORM. AWESOME FORM if he's a squid trying to show off how far he can reach his knee however.

although everyone will have their own unique body position sooner or later....i don't think that guy's form is good.

looks like his whole upper body weight is supported by his hands (handlebars), his head is pretty much up top when it should be more to the left. NOBODY should be able to drag knee with the bike that vertical without looking like a complete squid that's trying too hard.

if he had good form, you should be able to see a triangle of light behind his knee, his head should be tilted more to the left (pretty much above his wrist, or as most of you know, "looking in the mirror"), his shouldn't be hangin off like a freakin monkey, and he needs to stop being a tool.

i have no clue who this guy is, but i searched google, and his form is a good example of what one should look like.

It's bad. Unless he's faster than you. Then it's good.

... my question, how many of ya''l do or TRY to do this while normal cruising/driving on the streets?

I mean, do you really need to do all that for a 10-12mph turn at a stoplight?

Good form is whatever allows you to go fast. That being said, he doesn't look fast.
