Advice on NW Arkansas Roads...

A couple of us are going riding in Arkansas, we're staying in Mountain View more than likely, and I was seeing if anyone knows of any good roads in the area. Here's the route we took one day last year, or close to it at least:

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sour...,1.230469&z=10

I think we'll be there for 3 days so we'll have plenty of time to check out any other good roads in the area.

Thanks, Kane S.

I drove up there a few years back going to Branson out of Little Rock. Dont remember any of the roads but can tell you that all of the ones we drove on seemed to be awesome. The highway between LR and Branson was unreal in itself. I think it was Hwy65(?). You could just plot you out a big square and just ride. Start out north toward Mountain Home and even ride into southern Mo. To me the best bike roads were over towards Eureka Springs. Anyway, yall have fun.

Any direction out of Jasper is real good
Anywhere around Eureka Springs is good

I'd recommend you hit up "Tourmeister" on TWTEX, he owns the website, and he used to lead monthly trips to Arkansas for a small fee per rider. See if he'll mail you his route maps from when he used to lead tours up there. I recall he put together a nice booklet for each trip with routes, mileage, alternate routes, food, gas.

+1 on eureka springs...

as soon as you cross the river going north, you're in for good twisties/elevation changes/blind corners/etc
