if he was a good friend you wouldnt have to "hassle" him for the $ to fix your bike that he dropped. i'd try talkin to his parents, if thats an option. if not take him to court especially if you have proof and witnesses. either way i'd make sure not to ever let him ride your bike again.

Always treat your bike like your woman.......ride it hard or easy, and NEVER let your friends ride her.

If he is a "friend" you shouldn't have to force your money out of him. Tell the truth, then take your $700 worth of whoop out on him.

Ouch that sucks...my bike has been laid over 2 times by others NOT me and that is the worse feeling in the world...that's why once it's out of the shop NOT ONE person is riding it other than me

I think you just found out the hard way that he never was a real freind, cause if he valued your freindship he would of made some effort to fix it.Now the only thing you can do is fees up and tell your folks and have them talk to his folks and if that doesnt work take him to court.I mean why spare him the stress and drama he didnt do it for you.the only one whos losing is you.well at least you learned a valuable lesson I bet youll be the only one on your bike from now on.You live you learn.hold your head up high knowing you are that much wiser.

Man, thats the exact same thing that happened to me. Damage was about $600-$700 also. I was stupid for letting him get on my bike but I trusted him to take full responsibility as soon as he hops on it. Well as soon as he made a turn, dude slid and did damage to the bike, in front of my parents and neighbors so I had witnesses. Well he said he would pay me back and its been about 6 months since then, and not a single phone call from him. I happen to move to a different area the same day he dropped it so I dont see him around anymore. Its a crazy feeling though, a guy you've known for sooo long and chill with drops your bike and you don't hear from him again.

Yea thats some pretty up . But pat said it best honesty is allways the best way. Me personaly i would take his to court then after you get the money out of him. THEN woop his for giving you a hard time with it. If he can woop your use metel object's that omost always gets the job done lol...

But know i would take him to court. He's not a true friend unless he does everything in his power to pay you back.
