Not really.

You cannot be arrested for speeding. If you get arrested you get arrested for something like reckless driving - which is an entirely subjective call on the officer's part.

You cannot go to jail for speed alone and 25+ over the speed limit is not automatically reckless driving. Reckless driving is what the officer says it is.

All speeding is a class C misdemeanor. 1 over to 300 over.

pull yer over take the ticket, even if he hauls you to jail, its still a misdemeanor, evading is a felony.

I feel ya buddy, I almost got caught up there, but someone alerted me and I came off the gas and saw the car in the bushes as I came over the rise. I was like...**** me. I just know someone ratted out my spot and that guy has been sitting there at same bat time and same channel. One day I looked up and saw him in my mirror and didn't see where the he came from. I was cruising, but think he was trying to get my plates.

evading on foot is a misdemeanor, evading in a motor vehicle is a felony... so if you get in that situation, stop the vehicle and start running!

perfectly correct. i lived in SL for a while. even rolling a stop sign, cop will show up. lawyers will take ur case but that doesnt mean cuz the cop will show up and the lawyer wont get u anything. just pay the ticket

the DA in sugarland is really cool (heavier blonde lady) and so is the judge. I just went 2 weeks ago. No lawyer and the DA asked for one of my cases to be dismissed.. SCORE!

probably the wheelie, cause that's reckless driving on top of speeding. If both wheels are on the ground then they may just give you speeding

I got pulled over doing 125 in a 65 in my BMW and took it to court to fight it. The cop didn't show up and I danced out of there with my papers like I just got the golden ticket in American Idol. Always fight those tickets. Thats your only winning option. You can't take defensive driving, you gotta plead guilty or fight it.

They always say get a lawyer but my advice is save your money and sit in on a trial or two take notes what the lawyers do and you will be fine. They all have the same BS and are pretty much there as warm bodies to recite rote the same thing during each trial.

The key is to only get jurors who can empathize with you by removing ones that don't fit your criteria. ( you get to ask them questions). Also cast doubt on the police officer. I had 5 pages of notes walking in and was pretty confident even if the officer showed up it would be dismissed. Couple of cases I sat in on were open and shut cases yet the defendant got a not guilty.

Why are you going that fast in my town buddy? You could kill somebody (most likely yourself).
