I'm at the mc dealer show in Indianapolis & just talked to one of the Shark guys from the factory in europe today........

anyway, it looks liked they have fixed all of the problems that I had with mine last year. It is the quietest helmet I've ever owned but it had some problems with fogging and visor closure. They're a little pricey for my taste, but with those bugs worked out, I'd give it my vote as the nicest helmet on the market.

nice, sounds like it may live up to its reviews as being comparable to the best of arai, suomy and shoei.

I have a Shoei X-11 and a Shark R2S2. Both are great helmets. Shark is lighter, shoei feels more snug on the inside and they both have the same wind noise.
I wear large on both. I think the Shark fits more a less like the RF1000 from shoei.

I have the Shark RSR2 and Arai Corsair. They are about the same in terms of quality and fit. The Arai has slightly better ventilation, but not by much. I wear earplugs so I don't know if one is quieter than the other.

My thoughts exactly, my corsair vents a little better but they're both very nice helmets IMO.

I had the Muggeridge replica and now have a Arai Corsair. I like the Arai more b/c it fits my head better than the Shark. IMO, the Corsair has more ventilation, though, it can be too much at times(dries up the contact lenses). I never had any problems with my RSR2. I miss the RSR2's face shield system a lot. The Arai's face shield system is ghey compared to the Shark's. I'm sure you'll be happy with the RSR2. Good looking helmet btw.

I like mine alot, I have a Shoei X-11 also. The only thing I noticed is my peripheral vision is better with the Shoei compared to the Shark. Not sure if anyone else has that problem with theirs.
But other than that, love the helmet!!
