Tech Spec Grip Pads

A few people have seen these on my ZX-10R and ask me
about them every now and then so I figured I'd put some
info out there for everyone. . .

They are the same concept as the Stomp Grip pads
but better IMO. To me, the Stomp Grips are more
restrictive, (too grippy) something I don't want at the
track. I've seen plenty of Stompgrip pads falling off tanks
and such. . . I've yet to see a problem with my Tech Spec's.
The Tech Specs work fine for me at the track, they have
never restricted my movement. On the street, I love them.
It makes it easier for me to keep my knees pressed against
the tank so I can take some pressure off the handlebars.

Not sure if any of the sponsors carry them, maybe they can
chime in. . . but if your interested just google them and
check em out. . . .I think they run about the same price
as Stomp Grips and you also get a center pad as well.
Hope that helps.

-Gary

Thanks Gary

I almost bought a set for my RR after TWS (Texas World Speedway) last season, you said they work great and even though they grip, they also let you slid just enough.

Good post

Sweet! Did not know that. I just went ahead and bought mine months ago straight from their website. Not sure who else carries them locally but there you have it folks, sounds like Motorcycles Unlimited is the place to go if you want to score a set.

They haven't been around as long as Stompgrip nor have they seemed to get their name out there yet but I think in due time they will be the next big thing and a serious competitor for Stompgrip. . .

yep going with the tech spec.. checked with Motorcycles Unlimited 44.95 and takes about 3-4 days. Also this is good because the stomp grips dont offer pads for the first gen sv's which I have and see alot at the track. I will be ordering soon!
