Angry I CON

As we all know I Con Gear is garbage, I have one of their motorhead jackets and it's a little over a year old, the inner mesh liner has started to tear and the armor moves around, the zipper tab on the main zipper broke.

So I emailed I con last week or so to see if I could send it in and get it fixed.
I got an email back from them today and they said that they wouldn't do anything about it,

If I pay 350 for a fkn jacket I expect it to hold up for more than a year, and if it doesn't I expect the manufacture to stand by their product, sooooooo

them and they have lost another customer

end rant

I had a Frank Thomas jacket I bought from Cycle Gear. After 6 months of daily abuse the zipper on the front stopped working, I took it up to cycle gear and the replaced it no questions asked. That is why I def recommend Frank Thomas, CG stands behind it 100%

I dont know if its true but I have heard rumors that Icon is having a difficult time and might have to close there doors or make there product line alot smaller.... notice everysite is closing out there gear.. It makes sense. I think there designs are cool but I would rather have a good product than look cool with a heavy helmet on my head

have you looked closely at the stitching?

Frank Thomas is mo better and within the same price range. FT is not by any means great but it's saved my skin a few time.

I got a dainese and a Alpine Star and they both are great so far. I actually prefer the Alpine Star as far as the quality.

A* FTW!! Never owned Icon stuff. Seems Icon is more "street" ryder. Whereas A* is for the more serious track junkie. You make the call.
