We live an hour north of austin...and i would suggest maybe staying a little north of austin maybe Round Rock or Georgetown. Maybe a safer place with the bikes as not everyone may be lucky enough to get a 1st floor to keep bikes in.

that's a good idea. we were gonna check for one of those single story hotels. not a big marriott or anything. somethin around 70 bucks a night, with 2 queen size beds

Lol the only hotels I get a discount at are marriot style. Actually I think I could get one at days inn also not sure.

Try looking for a camp ground that rent cabins to stay in. U can usually stick alot of ppl in one cabin and to me they are usually thief free. I am going out there in may and stating at a military rec site on canyon lake and I can't wait.

^that's exactly what we're doin. last night me, 99 chris, and mike (cbr 10) were talkin and chris was suggesting us bringin a big tarp to cover up the bikes overnight.....me and mike were like "ok, u do that, ours are goin in the hotel room!"
