The officer's actions were absurd and he deserves to lose his badge.

This is evidently not the first problem.

I don't see much difference in either one of these videos. Bully cops run amuck.

"This is evidently not the first problem."

That's debatable.

That night, Knowles said he clocked about a half-dozen motorcyclists speeding on Interstate 40 in Wilson County. He said they were going at least 133 mph.

Laude said he saw the speeding motorcycles, too, but wasn't part of the group.

"Another motorcycle passed me in excess of 130 miles per hour on the shoulder," said Laude.

The pursuit had gone on for nearly 30 miles when Knowles spotted Laude and pulled him over. Lebanon police cruiser video shows Laude on the side of the interstate.

"He instantly jerked me off the motorcycle, threw me onto the ground. He put his knee in my back," Laude said.

The video only shows Laude being pulled from his motorcycle.

Laude wasn't arrested.
If he was a possible 'felon' why was he cited and not arrested?

Now granted the reporter may have gotten this # wrong...but this article says "That night, Knowles said he clocked about a half-dozen motorcyclists speeding on Interstate 40 in Wilson County. He said they were going at least 133 mph."

We've got the rider stating another rider passed hin on the right.

If the officer did not know who he was chasing (after all, he pulled the wrong bike over) seems easy enough he could have seen the other bike pass on the right... and assumed it was the rider he pulled over.

You wonder about the police department and their superiors when this guys done something drastically unnecessary twice now and still working as a police officer. People with anger issues should not be cops period.

I can play this game too.

Listen closely. You can hear him gurgling on his own blood.

If he would have reacted quicker and shot the SOB you would be posting that it was an unjustified shooting since the suspect was old or some bs like that.

Hang him high! Too many cops get away with this power hungry type of bullshit. Something needs to be done to show other LEOs that this is not acceptable

there was no need for him to pull him off his bike like that...it could have been handled a lot differently.

Ok, here it is. All of us have gone way of the base purpose of this thread. Everyone here can agree what happened in this video is disgraceful to police.
Yes the guy screwed up. It happens, some you hear about some you dont. What I was trying to emphasise earlier was you hear even less GOOD stories.

What I have a problem with is this, and the many other threads here, divulging into a cop bashing hate thread. People do slip through the selection process, get worn out, or grow out of the mindset the job requires. But you shouldn't stereotype all cops as sadistic a$$holes. Lord knows the sportbike community enough about their stereotype (hypocrite much?).

If you want to hate the police, fine. I'd like to see a few more friendly, an less automatically suspicous faces out there, but its ok. Guess what? We will still be there for you, when your being robbed, when your crushed in a car fighting for your life, and separating you from your loved ones when the holdiays go bad, keeping you from beating eachother to death. We don't get in it for fame or fortune, or even recognition. Otherwise We'd all be firemen huh?
