Be careful guys... we know you are a safe rider, it still doesn't make you safe.

There isnt a safe lane anywhere on the road IMHO
I ride the HOV and on the way home stopped becuase of traffic. End up beieng a guy on a bike that tried to pass a a bus before a turn and he locked up his brakes went into the barier and over the side of the pass and fel onto 59. I always get people ridding my , so I let them pass and they speed up to ride the car's bumper in front of me, dumbass.

This is why I rarely ride on the street anymore... All the elements are against us out there. ALWAYS , ALWAYS, ALWAYS expect the car next to you, in front of you, to come in to your lane, or make an abrupt stop. Be aware 110% of the time.

anytime i use engine braking i still use the rear brake to turn on the brake light
people in Houston aren't smart enough to judge the speed of something

+1. I spend a lot of my time with MH-ers now. Sometimes I catch myself thinking "nothing will ever happen to this one or that one"...but there isn't a one of us who couldn't be gone before the sun rises.

This past year I've been more aware of how high the odds are that the last folks I'll see before I die may very well be fellow riders from the board...then I get uber-depressed since I typically ride with Princess, Azylum or Leroy. . .I mean, how would you feel if those were the last faces you had to see on Earth?

Holy chit, I hadn't looked at it (or them) that way. Thanks for opening my eyes Mala.

Check for sale section for used Buell.

For a while now I've been thinking about the fact that the folks I ride with may be the last ones I see, and I'm comfortable with that. It's selfish of me, but, I often hope there's another rider there if something happens on Mogee and I don't die immediately. I mostly only ride with folks I know these days, so I feel a little bad about wishing one of them is with me since it affects the surviving riders but I expect that anyone who knows me would know I'd never point the finger or want them to feel any differently about riding.
