slow down and stay aware

2009 seems to have a lot of rip threads already.
slow down, people. this is not daytona speedway.
be careful at intersections. watch traffic in front of you and behind you. look out for oblivious drivers, or people who just cant see you.
light up your bike or yourself through use of led's or reflectors.

just stop dying damnit.

I take the HOV to and from work. It may look boring and silly, and it is... but I haven't heard of a motorcycle fatality on the HOV lane before, and I just left the scene of Rodrick' and run :-(

Be careful guys... we know you are a safe rider, it still doesn't make you safe.

There was a guy on MH not long ago that was in the HOV lane that got rearended i believe and went over the side of the wall and fell down into traffic. He just recovered from this massive accident not to long ago.

There isnt a safe lane anywhere on the road IMHO

Sadly, this is a good point, although it can happen anytime of day\night... chances are probably greater at night.

Ian-- ChrisScott514 on here

He's doing fine now- he even got another bike- but his wasn't a RIP thread. I do a lot of riding in the dark (early morning, late evening) so I just ordered a set of 'loser' lights for my bike.

Be a defensive driver- ALL THE TIME!

Well everyone give a very good advice, so all I'll say is folks please be careful out there! Day or night, rain or shine, crazy cage drivers and drank drivers. Please be careful.

Always expect the worst watch the drivers, if they bobbing their heads they are just jamming music and dont know your there. I had one run me off the road once luckly it was on the freeway into the emergency stopping lane dont get caught in the middle of a pack separate yourself if possible. Always be alert
