Exhaust Debate?

Ok guys im looking at putting slip ons on my 04 r1... So I have been surfing the r1-forum and found I can get pretty much any high brand used for around 5-600 bucks such as termi's akro , arrow , gytr, graves... But now I look on cycle gear and they are getting rid of there scorpion slip-ons for 200 bucks shipped and even in carbon fiber.. So i ask do I wait and find some of the above or just save money and get the scorpions. what are you guys takes. And the bike is just street no track so performance isnt my main focus or I would do a full system

Just slipons is going to be for note and aesthitics. See if you can find a pic of the undertail R1 with scorpion exhaust. If you like how it looks/sounds (search youtube) then get the scorpions. If you can't live with your bike looking/sounding that way, get the above mentioned.

Edit: you COULD just go with A&R baffles and save yourself a bunch of time and $$ if you are happy with how the stockers look. I really liked the note from the race baffles.

I kinda like the way they look. Especially if they are going to blue like in the picture. But it is really up to you. Could even consider cutting them down some before installation to clean up the backend some.
