(check for spark, pull a coil w/ sparkplug installed, if yes then check inj w/ multimeter)
(pin out the connector that goes to one of the injectors should see voltage when cranking/ ign on positon.)
(find the wiring harness that goes to the fuel pump connect multimeter/ turn key to ign "on" pos. fuel pump should prim for 3 sec and u should see voltage during that period.)
If the bike has to be push started the battery voltage itself is to low ecu will not send power to spark/& inj. you said u replaced battery and still nothing. its one or more of the three fuelpump /injectors/ spark

before u go after the ecu

Do you mean removing a plug wire putting in and grounding a spark plug? Just make sure the wire is well connected to the spark plug and the plug has a good ground. You should see a strong spark when cranking if everything is working correctly.
Old school fuel check is your nose to the exhaust. Not really advisable though.

yea pull a coil pack to one of the cylinders and put the spark plug back in the coil and crank it. (do not hold the spark plug in your hand) duh* but u should see spark
