Because of gas prices - the MSRP of scooters has sky-rocketed! I think he needs to do a cost-analysis of taking a cab v. buying a scooter. I would think that, even if he bought a nice bike - or a car, he would still come out ahead v. taking a cab.

you can buy a nice 50cc - 150cc scooter for $1000. You can get one new for $1500 (honda Ruckus)

Try Apollo Scooters on 59 and the polk exit. Near the police station. They might have something. Stubs on Telephone road also.

My friend in San Marcos always buys cars for $400 bucks. They last him a year or two. He is driving an old corrolla right now. Tell him to just buy a beater.

man i wouldnt ride one of those little scooters around they are soo small and underpowerd. Looks liek the wind could blow you away on them. I seen a few ppl ride them on the street and looks way to dangerous too me.

+1, and how often do people look out for scooters vs. motorcycles?
