lol... for real!....the cops won't help you and you pretty much just want to go take it back from them...your gonna be pretty hard-pressed to find someone here to help you with that shady deal.

Whos to say your telling the truth...(I'm sure there is another side to the story) maybe you did get the tv and it blew up, now you want the bike back....

Your best bet, go through the proper channels, legally!
Change the title
file a claim and\or report it stolen.

good luck with that.

he did offered cash, dinner or "something".. not sure what that “something” is but if it involves the use of lubrication, I’m fairly certain there's a bunch on here that’s down….

huh, what is wrong with ya'll. was just asking for help and ya'll twisted everything up.

a couple members posted on the first page to get a couple guys together and recover it, and i said i was down with that and would help and pay for the costs. I said I was going to try and get it transfered over as soon as i could.

But that still doesnt matter, I CAN'T report it stolen because it was a civil matter, I have already tried that. The cops wont do a thing for me. They just turn you away and tell you take it to small claims court. There is a side way and that is to send a certified letter stating i want my property back and after 10days or something i can report it, but i am not 100% sure the apartment is his that he took me too, but i do know he rents the storage unit.

How else would i know of all the work that was done to it.

In order to be the rightful owner of a vehicle you dont have to have the title in your name. Like i said i was building it for track use. I do still have the bill of sale from when i got it. I beleive i may still have a key to it laying around somewhere, and also have the license plate in my garage.

As long as you have the bill of sale, you MAY have a shot in court. I would definitely get that tiel switched, though. No sense in messing around and possibly having the court say it's not legally yours.

File a false report? Sure, that seems logical. You would be better off cutting the lock and stealing it. At least you could explain that if you were to get caught.

C'mon, doesn't someone want to help this guy pull an OJ? I'm sure it will work out just fine if there's enough of you and you make a good show of force.

Worked for OJ and his compadres, at least for a few days...
