I changed my front pads at 31,000mi. Sounds about right. I doubt I could have gotten much more out of them. The wear indicators were almost touching the rotors.

sunny didn't want to bother with it (but, he told me where to take it)
2 wheel toyz didn't want to bother with it, & several local tire & rim shops didn't want to bother with it...

but, i took it to bumpers to go (713)477-9898 & they said they'd try to fix it.
if they indeed fix it it'll be $45. but, after getting the tire off & haveing a good look at it the damage is more than i thought...the whole section of rim is tweaked. if they can't fix it i'm gonna dive for some aftermarket wheels.

fkn deer park should keep they're streets a little cleaner. FTW.

Good deal. Did they tell you how they did it? By looking at it, does it seem like its gonna be solid from this point on? I assume you don't have to repaint the wheels?

Dude, please do yourself a favor and DON'T polish the lips. Just my 2cents. If you were looking into aftermarket wheels, then I'm sure you don't mind spending the money for powder coat. . . Curious, what color is your ZX-6R?

Gunslinger, did you ever find out if the ZX-6R rear wheels are interchangable with the ZX-10R rear wheels? Is the distance b/t the swingarm the same?
