3:00 AM Just Stolen

My 2003 GSXR 1000 was just stolen around 3 am i take my car to work on somedays and leave my bike in the parkingspace. When i came home tonight another car was there, so i was like wheres my bike?

The bike is royal blue with white rims, chrome decals, blue levers matching the bodywork ,clear windscreen with a small crack on the left side

I even had a thick cable wrapped through the rim and the swingarm together so i dont know how the were able to move this thing. It weighs a ton!!!
Please be on the lookout!!!!!!!!!!!!

I live in Katy.

Watch out for pickups with covers thrown over the bike in the back too.

That really sucks, hope it's returned.

Geez, im in katy....what apartments? i would like to go park my bike out there one evening and set up camp with it in my view over night.

The glock & the H&K are so tired of the shooting range!

Thieves are such punks....big up's to the first person that pops one or two in the act!

Sorry to hear this.

It's worth it to invest in even a cheap video surveilance system. You can buy them for about $150 (at Costco), complete with 4 small cameras. Then hook it up to a VCR/DVR.

Not as good as a $1k+ system, but it works. You'll just need to change out the batteries on each camera whenever needed. I think they'd be great for an Apartment (provided your apartment is in view and within range of where you park your bike).

Last time I checked apartment complexes frown on you installing surveillance cameras in their public parking lots. It may even be illegal, not sure.

good thing I live within view of my bike with a rifle with scope on a stand pointed at it at all times through the window.

Can you please post pictures or describe something that would set it apart from other 2003 gixxers so I chase the wrong bike.

Not sure your getting what I am saying. There are laws on where and why you can have surveillance cameras on property that isn't owned by you or in publicly accessed areas.

Just because someone might steal your bike (illegal) doesn't mean you can setup an illegal surveillance system.
