Bringing a VFR800 to check the goings on.

I thought I'd check in a say hello. I know a few guys on here already and have been known to lead a ride or 2 with another group. I use my VFR about evenly for commuting, touring, and going faster than I should. It's a pearl white 2006 model with Honda saddlebags and while some may argue that it's not the fastest color, it's so bright that it LOOKS fast!

I haven't done a full track day, but I did take the bags off the Interceptor and run a few laps on a couple of local tracks last year. Gonna do a full-blown trackday this year if I can ever find a free weekend! At 525 pounds fully gassed up it aint the most flickable sportbike, but I bought it for the versatility and it fits that perfectly.

Anyway, I'm over here just inside the beltway on Gessner north of 290. I'll be checking in and try to make it out to a ride so I can meet a few more people.

Thanks! Me and it had a little spat when it had less than 250 miles on it, but we're all better and get along nicely now!

WOOOO! Another VFR! Welcome. I don't think I've ever seen a white one in person.

Nice. That reminds me that I actually do know of a guy up off Spring Cypress road with a red model. That's not you is it?

Yeah, not too many changes other than color from 2002 through 2005. Then the '06 got clear signal lenses, revised v-tech mapping and included the electrical fixes that got recalled in 2005! And nothing's changed since then in the US. Oh and the 2006 is when they started coming without a full tool kit. Bastards!!
