Hey Danny, it is true. There have been at least two threads about it.

TEXMEX from Stubbs is selling the fiddys really low because of this.

The problem is the smaller bikes are designed for kids, and with the new law anything designed for children can have no more than 600 parts per million of led(can Somone show me what 600ppm actually looks like?).

Not to fear josh302 has a few in stock.

Oh, I guess you should wear a condom next time you ride your Fiddy to prevent lead poisoning LOL.

can't hey just slap a lable on it, 'for 18yrs or older only' then its up to the parents as to who uses it. After all kids are not buying these things, parents are.

my wife made the same comment. why can't they just market the bike as a stunt bike for grown ups.

0.00066% I beleive

1 ppm = 1 10^–6
660 ppm = 660 x 10^-6 = 0.00066%

I think you need to multiply by 100 b/c 100% = 1milion parts.
660/1,000,000 = .00066 x 100 = .066%

Somebody send Honda an email about the sticker idea to see what they say.

I stand corrected. Yes it is 0.066%
