ParkinGO Triumph BE1 Racing World Supersport Team Officially Introduced In Milan, Ita

Quote:
Team ParkinGO Triumph BE1 Racing, owned by Giuliano Rovelli, was presented yesterday on the enchanting atmosphere of the Milan navigli. The team will face the 2009 Supersport Championship as reference team of the British company. At Triumph's showroom in Milan the two latest signing riders Garry McCoy and Gianluca Nannelli unveiled the livery of the 675 version '09 in front of a large number of journalists, sponsors and supporters. The presence of Paul Taylor, on behalf of the Factory, and Mario Lupano, CEO of the Italian branch who followed the team in the last two seasons, sanctioned the promotion of the ParkinGO BE1 Racing to 'Factory' Team. Afterwards, guest stars Elio e le Storie Tese took the floor and, as 'honorary technicians' of the team, explained the developments of the Daytona 675 2009 in their funny and ironic way, as usual; that made the event even more sparkling.

Giuliano Rovelli | Team Owner: “I'm really glad to announce the promotion of BE1 Racing to Factory Team status. It means that we were able to do an excellent work in our first year of championship. Our 2009 goals are ambitious. We signed up two quick and experienced riders who are expected to help the team to grow further. During the last autumn we worked hard and during the first meeting with our rivals at Portimao testing we showed our improvements. It's still a long way to reach the top but we are burning to come back to work and we think to be on the right way”.

Gianluca Nannelli: “I really wanted to become a member of this Team and I'm sure that this partnership will bear fruit. I have the opportunity to work shoulder to shoulder with a legend of the world motorcycling. We respect each other reciprocally and that allows us to capitalize our work in order to develop the bike: the Daytona 675 2009 grows lap by lap. The competition has never been so tight as it will be in the incoming season, nevertheless I'm sure I can grab good satisfactions”.

Garry McCoy: “I already knew the bike 'coz I took it to the track last year with another team. In the 2008 last round I had the chance to work with the Team ParkinGO Triumph BE1 Racing and that event started this partnership which will last all the season and will start in one month. The championship opening round will take place at Phillip Island, my home-track, where I have ever run thrilling and exciting race. I hope to give big emotions to all my fans and to the team".
IMO this bike has so much potential but I don't believe these are the riders to release it shame, hope I'm proved wrong.

Finally someone on my bike! I think you are right though, it is sad, but none the less exciting to see my ride out there!

Good luck lads

Why not? I really don't know much about WSBK much less about Supersport so I don't know the riders.
Do they suck?

If what you say about Nanelli is true, he is there as a marketing strategy. We all know triumphs are for girls

Glad to see McCoy with a nice ride. His old antics made real life look like video games............which is usually supposed to be the other way around.

Can't wait to see what Triumph can do, on a world stage that is.

2008 Olton Park bsb was sweet! It's not the WSBK but was fun to watch anyway!
