Don't even get me started with your "600 is not a beginner bike" lesson K? I teach all my friends on 600s and look at them now

I got two gsxr 750, 06-07. 600 is a snail compared to these monster. What you want is a light weight of a 600 and power of a 1000. This is great for first bike owner.

Seriously, if you have enough experience you let me know, I have several bikes for sale. As long as you have respect for these machines and know how to ride it defensively, you should do okay. The problems with noobs is that they get used to the bike and think that they are invincible.

well i know lots o ppl who got supersports as thier first bike and made it. but also know twice as many people who didnot.
do you remember the first time you tried to leard how to drive? well how would you experience be like if you were doing that in a 480hp ferrari?
we are not just talking about laying it down here, you can get killed dude. bottom line is you WILL increace your chances of eating some serious by buying a fast bike. but hey at the end of the day your life, your risk so do what you want.

Good luck with your search! Dont listen to the critics, as long as you have a level head...and dont let your get bigger than your brain. You'll be fine.

I bought a used r6 and other than a fall over in the parking lot, it hasnt been downed at all. Now that its back to near perfect condition...its like starting over. Becareful out there.

you have no idea about my riding Therefore, you judge the scrub cause he hasnt ridden as much as you ? screw off geezer

Your telling me that a level headed 600 rider isnt responsible? Its more of a risk IF you use the power. As far as im concerned, a car can pull out/over a 250 as well as a r6. To hurt yourself with the power of a bike means you may not be as level headed as you might need to be.

buying a bike thats as fast as a Ferrari as a first bike is a responsible decision?

a race bike w/ lights vs a beginner bike?

like i said, it depends on the rider. I learned just fine on my 600. Although i know its expected, i havent gone down...so dont insult my experience. You can put some scrub/squid on a gixxer and end up with road kill...and you can put a level headed guy on a gixxer and he'll turn out fine. Stop being the forum safety guru..its appreciated it, but dont cut down other peoples legit opinions.
