i dunno dude. it doesnt look like very much of the twisties, more like straight, wait, turn, straight, and a handful of very gentle wide turns.
it looks like more fun than i-10 at least.
when you are going a long distance though, its a lot easier to just take the highway and then enjoy the fun roads once you are there. austin has plenty of fun roads, btw. you dont want your and back to be too burnt out to enjoy those roads.

Pretty lengthy ride. You planning on coming back same day?

its a good route - not very technical but out in the country on roads with hills and gentle curves.

Beats the out of riding anywhere within Beltway 8 loop.

Do yourself a favor and stop in New Ulm and eat at the one and only cafe there.

We'll I've never been riding around there and I'm just looking for some good roads for me and my buddy to do a long Sunday/Saturday ride. I'm just tired of riding around in the burbs and would like a nice long route.. Do you guys have any opinions? If you do, Google map it and send me the link yo!

I basically did this same ride last weekend, only I was started at Brookshire near I-10 and rode through Fayetteville back up to the Northside. It was mainly a relaxing ride/cruise up until you get close to Fayetteville. There was a real nice road leading into town (1291 I think).
