Cresson-little slippery in the morning-but is by far the best track around.

They are all like pu$$y, When they are goog they are very good and when they are bad they are still good, The worst track day I ever had was still great, , I personally like TWS (Texas World Speedway) and MSRH because I have a big bike fetish and they really shine there

You've only done one trackday...you're going to learn regardless of where you ride.

I've only riden GSS on a 1k and I love it. It's a lot of fun. Mostly 2nd/3rd and touch 4th briefly on the back straight.

you'll be fine at whatever track you choose.

they are all fun, and they all teach something different.

Jerran, were you running stock gearing? How's the surface, any issues getting the rear tire to stick? And what compound were you running?

Just a thought....how can you make such a conclusion when it is evident that you have never ridden the track before?

disclaimer: just an assumption based on what I read...please don't come hunt me down. For $100 Curt, you should come out and play on the 14th. This way you can determine for yourself if GSS is too small....and just because it takes work to be "fast" there is not sufficient reason to say anything bigger than a 600 is too big for GSS.

Danny, were you there when Jeff Grant was running around that track on his CBR1k? Talk about haulin' the mail... track didn't look too small for his liter bike either.

Curt - stock gearing, and corsa IIIs the last time there. I got great traction even with those tires. Wheelied more than spinning up, sometimes both. I'm really looking forward to riding it on March 1st with Texastrackdays on BT003s soft F, med R.

MSRH would be a good choice, the thing to remember when going to that particular track is that it has uneven surface and is quite a bit more technical. If you want hit me up on pm and Ill go with you for FREE and show you the line.
