Can't make it out this weekend, but may try for next weekend.

Have fun out there. Just a note, last time I was out there they were running kart practice too, and had quite a showing of karts. Not sure if this is going to be the norm for them until there season starts, but I would expect to see a few out there.

Karts rule. It's their track and we bottom feed cause out of the kindness of their hearts (and a little track revenue) they rent to TMGP and let us ride bikes out there. Any matches over who gets track time, karts vs bikes, usually ends with no more bikes allowed, period.

From their website:

On non-race days members and/or their guests are the only persons authorized to operate racing karts on the track. A guest of a member can operate the members kart if the member agrees to sponsor the guest. Guests can drive the members kart but the member must be present. The member must have the guest or the legal guardian of a minor guest sign the official waiver provided by the club to release all liability of GCKI before allowing the guest on the track. These signed release forms must be placed in the lock box prior to driving on the track. Anyone found violating this rule will be suspended from the club for a period of one year from the date of the infraction. ALL MEMBERS MUST HAVE THEIR ID CARDS AVAILABLE FOR PROPER VERIFICATION AT ALL TIMES WHILE ON GCKI PROPERTY. This rule is in effect at ALL TIMES.

Yep, it will prolly be slow since they just raced on the 1st.

You'd have to camp out for a couple of weeks 24/7 before you'd find a biker to join out there. There's just not that many with memberships, probabnly less than 10.

I'll probably be there with 3-4 racers, 3 bikes.

Saturday - early morning...

If Karts are on the track, do we have to wait or can we ride with them? I've been out there once to watch a race and that's it. KTMracer is fixing up my bike this week so in the next few weeks I should be ready to hit the track up for some practice. I'm going to get my membership in the next week or so, just looking for how it works for practice?

Its a 20/20 or 30/30.

Meaning 20 minutes, all karters ride... then they get off, then 20 minutes we get off...

Nobody really keeps time, but it usually stays between 20-30 minutes per session for them/us.

We CAN NOT run with them at the same time, as they run the track clockwise, where as we "usually" run it counter clockwise, occasionally I'll run it clockwise...

good deal. That's plenty of time to ride for me. I'm stoked about getting my little 72cc rocket out there finally.
