20th ann. gsxr 750

bike dies sometimes.

Whats up peeps look im dont understand this. Some times when my bike is started and and has been running for a while and the temp is about 120-180 and i blip the throttle the bike just dies. Its a 05 gsxr750 with about 7000miles on it. It always starts right back up no problems i was just wondering if this is normal. Like it revs to abiout 4g the while returning to idol it bogs down and dies. Not every time but it does happen.

I change the oil after every hard ride or 1800-2000 miles.

What RPM is your bike idled at?
What does your air filter look like?
How many miles on the bike?
How many miles since your last tune up?

my guess is its either air or a fuel problem. since its FI its alot harder to diagnose if the bike isnt present.

have you checked the 750 message boards to see if there was a technical bulliten or something like that?

my best geuss is that ur fuel injection is a lil dirty. i have seen some do that just from running pump it collects trash. i sudjest to my customer to run a tank of race gas and it tends to clean the system out. but thats just my 2 cents.

Raise your idle to 1200 - 1300 RPM, and change / clean your air filter. That should take care of your problem.
