more rules for forsale thread

After seeing a member get burned by another new member and all the threads go up in the forsale area as members first post, can it be set to where members have to have posted X amount of times and been a member of MH for X amount of months seems like it might cut down on the chances of another person getting scammed again.

used to be the rule but then new people would go and post irrelevant stuff in random threads to get their post count up in one day. yall thought i was bad, but these guys were rediculous. i thinks its good the way it is, no system is perfect.

The only way this would work is with a TIME span before they could post in the for sale section, not a post count. I don't want to see us get to that point though. Report posts in violation. Sad part is, most folks who spam for sale threads and make a mockery of it are the people who have been here a long time, the same ones who are quick to report a new member breaking the rules

People get scammed everywhere. Whether it is on the internet or in person or some combination of both.

People can be banned from the Classifieds section. However they would have to do something against the rules in order for that to happen. There are quite a few who seem to overlook those rules, does no one read them?
