Thumbs up TEXAS MILE registration is *OPEN* (March 27-29)....

For anyone looking to get there bike out and see what it will actually run and not just what the ridiculously fast speedometer says...

Check it out.... www.texasmile.net/

If they get enough people by the end of February the first event will be a THREE day event. Tech on Thursday and then race Friday, Saturday and Sunday...

100% legal to run absolutely as fast as you want without fear of loosing your license, getting a ticket, and/or a soccer mom or other object pulling out in front of you. Plus medical staff and hundreds of nice people if you need any help.

If you have any questions or need additional info, let me know.

Josh

If you are running in the street class you can do about anything. However, if you are going for a ECTA record, it will change what class you are in depending on the aero changes.

Go for the three day event unless you can't get off work...

I'd go 19/40 to give more chain wrap. Should be good for over 220mph if he can hook it up and tuck...

Yeah I am coming in on Friday but I won't be racing friday, just setting up that afternoon. I don't want to spend $300 to race.... $200 is high enough.

I will probably run 18/38, I believe that is good for 215-220mph, I gotta check on that though... with 18/40 I only get around 196-197mph out of it. I could go 19t and run either the 38 or 40t but then I have to buy a new chain, another $200... for this event is already getting expensive..

1 Mile tune up(dyno)= $200
C16 fuel= $100
Sprockets for 1 mile=$100
Entry= $200
Hotel= $100
Food/Beer= $100+

Thats $800

It's only money, and you only live once! Sounds like the cheapest and safest route to 200mph+ to me...

We've got 30-people registered already for the 3-day event and need 60. If you are thinking about going DO IT!

You'll have a blast and wish you would have done this years ago. Go as fast as you want without any consequences....

I will probably go to spectate. I have family out there. she has RV spaces for rent and she may be willing to allow people to camp in tents if spaces run out or if you dont have an RV. If you know someone that is staying in an RV you might be able to set up a tent and use their bathroom for showers. either way i have a bed to sleep in down there. if anyone wants her contact info please PM me. she is the closest RV park to the airport. her address is on 1351 and according to google she is 15 miles from it but i think she is closer than that.

she has 13 RV hook ups most with all the hookups and some with just electric.
