Its supposed to offer longer tread life down the center, since I do a lot of commuting I thought this might be a better option for me but I was wandering the diff in handling. Im running power ct2 now and love the tire but I need a bit mote life out of em

I have had great luck with them.
Try pilot power on front and pilot road 2 on rear,
that's my next setup

Really liked metzeler z6 also
Single compound but does it all well and cost a lot less than pr2

Neither one of the tires I mentioned would be good for track days
I use them on big sport touring bike covering many miles
The sport tires don't even last an oil change

track, forest same thing.
There are many more experienced riders to talk to bout track tires.
As far as the street/sport touring many miles, pr2 hard to beat in
my opinion

Dustin,

Since you going to be doing a lot of track days (I say a lot cause I know you will get hooked), I strongly suggest you try the Pirelli Corsa III. You will get similar milage, but much more traction for that heavy dinosaur! Trust me on this one

I could get 3000-3500 out of a set on the 1k.

I have a perfect track bike for you too.......I'll PM you the info
