+1 and I'm sure he would not plan on leaving the track on purpose in the chicane of all places. He did almost wipe out.

Everyone knows Stoner is a lunch pusher so that won't create drama. If you want to create drama say Rossi is a phag.

1.21 Behaviour During Practice and Race
1) Riders must obey the flag signals, the light signals, and the
boards which convey instructions. Any infringement to this rule
will be penalised according to the provisions of article 1.22.
2) Riders must ride in a responsible manner which does not cause
danger to other competitors or participants, either on the track or
in the pit-lane. Any infringement of this rule will be penalised with
one of the following penalties: fine ride through
disqualification withdrawal of Championship points
suspension.
3) Riders should use only the track and the pit-lane. However, if a
rider accidentally leaves the track then he may rejoin it at the
place indicated by the marshals or at a place which does not
provide an advantage to him. Any infringement of this rule during
the practices or warm up will be penalised by the cancellation of
the lap time concerned and during the race, by a ride through.
Further penalties (such as fine disqualification withdrawal of
Championship points) may also be imposed

...I am sure when they wrote the rules, they imagined a rider trying to 'accidentally' leave the track and 'rejoin' up ahead somewhere after a turn (in essence eliminating the turn-as in a short cut).
I am sure they never imagined a rider will leave a track by 3 feet or so and will 'rejoin' immediately.
It happened, yes, but I sure as enjoyed watching it, so I say, leave it be...

there is absolutely no doubt in my mind it was awesome racing but rules are rules.stoner shut the door on the turn and rossy climbed through the window.lol
i actually believe that he came in too hot and had no choice but to run wide and it worked to his advantage,so half and half on breaking the rules purposely i guess..
