We mentioned in our previous newsletter that we'll be participating in the 24-Hours of LeMons (http://www.24hoursoflemons.com/) this year in Houston. Remember that if you're running in it, too, and your car is ready, non-members can participate in this Test N' Tune. It's $75 per driver, OR, if you'll put one of our lil' vinyls on your car, it's only $25 per driver. We've got 20 car slots on the 13th and 20th from 1-4pm.

well our secret weapon is a 89 240sx there are roll cages on flea bay for like 300-400. Have a buddy who is going to weld it in. It has to atleast look like a professional did it, which put my first idea of doing it myselft to rest. The car has to be almost completely race prepped, with cage 5 pt harness fire extinguisher. gas tank has to be sealed off from passenger compartment. Firewall has to be sealed up...ect. As far as money goes you only have 500 to get a car and race it. Safety equipment which includes breaks wheels and tires are not included in the 500. 500 entry fee 100 per driver or 75 non driver. im thinking with all the safety stuff and the car about 1500 plus registration fees. Our bike helmets dont meet the certifications i dont think.

all the rules and stuff are in the link.

im hoping on not spending more than 3k and that will be split between 6 people.
