I wouldn't call it drifting; drifting is more of a car term anyway. Although the concept is similar - to scrub speed and set-up for an approaching corner, drifting in its purest sense is steering with the throttle open and tires spinning. What Dustin is doing here is trail braking / brake sliding with the throttle essentially closed. That tire smoke is from the rear tire skidding.

That said, you can "drift" if you want to call it that, on a motorcycle; steering with the rear is done all the time in MotoGP and other high-horsepower classes. It was very common before TC came along.
