Howdy Chris,

Class of '81 here.

I also live in Cinco and my 17 year old son is hoping to go CS or CE.

He also has the fascination with Japan, takes Japanese classes at HCC, and hopes to make a trip this summer.

He's moving up from a 250 Ninja, which has been sold. Don't hesitate to get the pre-2008 Ninja's as a first bike. Let me know if you want me to talk to your parents!

Thanks for the many welcomes! This seems like a very large, friendly, warm community, and I'm excited to be a new member! I hope to really start riding soon, but parents and finances are always a problem!

Hopefully they won't hold me down too long!

Thanks again for the greetings everyone!

Sorry, the post before jumbled up my text! I don't know what happened. Anyway, in my MSF class, he talked a little about the MotoHouston forum with another member of the class. I didn't know about this forum before then. They said it would be a good forum for riders in Houston, so now I'm here!

Also, that bike was so sweet! I'd love to get into track riding, because frankly, I'm kind of scared of the street!

Again, thanks for all the salutations! I really want to start riding this coming summer, but like stated before, parents and finances. Yet, who knows what may come?
