I'm in the market for a new exhaust. I came across a Jardine Gp-1 exhaust. Just wondering if Jardine was any good off an exhaust. Let me know

Ha ha ha ha. A full racing exhaust REQUIRES either a Power Commander, Bazzaz, or the tuner a dealer will have. Otherwise you are not only leaving a lot of horsepower on the table, your bike is likely to run like .

M4 exhaust and the jardine are very, very loud at wide open throttle. If you ride at WOT a lot on the street, consider an Akra. Great performance, very quiet even with the silencer removed.

you have the 08. when you had your m4, you still had the cat on it. now youre at full exhaust, so that makes a difference. i guarantee my m4 is louder than your akro.

well, this has nearly turned into a match...but to clarify, my preferances for the street are in the following order:

1. sound (want it screaming loud and throaty)
2. looks
3. performance
4. (oh ya) good price

btw, i'm not a huge fan of the short, stubby look of having the can right behind the brake/peg, so what should one get?

sorry in advance if this completely jacks teh thread

Jardine GP1 is sweet! Sounds great, looks good, and you can't beat the price at all!

I have an full ART series II exhaust on my R6. i have only found one or 2 places that sells them. its an English brand and looks just like a Micron exhaust. i would not doubt they are the exact same. but mines really loud all the time cuz i have a racing mid pipe also which i guess might have better flow characteristics. i dont care for the shorty exhausts too much. i like the high mount oval can style.

i went for a stock air filter on my R6. Im not really sure how big a difference the filter makes. i dont wanna spend the extra money on a K&N cuz im not going to bother cleaning it anyways.

ok man you made 2 mistakes. that i can see so far.
1. you went to cycle gear. (way over priced)
2. you didnt shop around and didnt get 100% true info.
we have all gone through the same thing with our first bikes.
if i were you cancel the order pm me your number and ill order you that pipe with a air filter (which you really dont need unless you got a full system) all installed for less then the price you payed for that pipe. your call. just trying to save you ALOT of money. my name is aramis by the way.. plz pm me
