Electriical Help?!

Ok so here the deal. On the way back home from Renos last night I was doing about mph and comming up on my exit. I a slow down and make the exit my bike does a couple clicking sounds and the motor dies. Now notice i said only the motor dies> Well thanks to the speed I had i was able to make the exit and roll up in the HEB parking lot. I torn the bike off and back on and try to restart. Nothing. The power is there but its like it wont even try to roll over. Just makes a clicking sound. Tried jumping it.... nothing. WTH>?! Any ideas? oh ya and its a 2008 KawaSUCKI zx14

Well it turns out its far worse than I could even imagine. I took the bike into the dealer and low and behold they had two words for me.......... ENGINE FAILURE. After a hour or so looking into the electrical aspects of the bike, the guy decides to pull my oil plug only to find peices of my bearings floating around in it. FU*&ing great............... they say its the 1st zx14 motor theyve had thats failed and its going to be covered under my warranty. BUT itll take at least 3 weeks to get the motor in and install. So ill be riding the gsxr 100 till then. Lucky me 'eh?

I would have let you borrow it if I would have bought it

Or you could have borrowed the 600 so you can be the one left behind all the time!

dam! good thing it didnt fail while you were at . and if it did then good thing it didnt lock up...that could have been bad.

at least you have a spare bike to keep ya riding. good luck with the warranty issues. hope it comes back together soon for ya.

if the engine was low on oil there should have been a red warning light come on the instrument gauges,if not then something let go in the engine.
