Hong Kong body plastics on Ebay

Does anyone have a set? I was curious what the fit and finish is like.

Motorcycles Unlimited buddy just bought a set for his 01 zx6r. He put em on...they looked nice...then bout 30 minutes later, while in the house, heard what he thought was a gunshot. POP!!!!!! Upper snapped. Then after a few rides, is breaking all over. He says he got them from the same place as Azylum, but I dunno man.

I am starting to think for not much more, you can get aftermarket street body work (hot bodies, attack etc) and have tony(houseofpain) paint them.

, I think his set was like $600.00 and sum change(w/shipping) and then 8 something weeks to get here.

Azylums look sweet. And Pigpen (RIP) had some too with minor fitment issues. They looked good. The rear hugger didnt fit well though.

i got mine from nicecycle.com....the fitment was...well it was aweful to be honest. the guys that put them on for me did an outstanding job of making it work. but there are little fitment issues that simply cannot be fixed. but its mostly in my head because im a bit of a perfectionist. i put it in front of my friend and asked him to find the flaws and he looked it over for thirty minutes before i pointed them out. so maybe im just too picky.

there ia a place in california that sales oem plastics all ready painted. it's more than the hong kong, but cheaper than going to the dealer. the price range is about $800. i have heard nothing but good about the plastics from them. i think it's called calicars or something like that.

That was the place (calicarsandbikes.com) I was going to suggest, but the price for full fairings is closer to a thousand from what I remember.

Use a hair dryer to remove the existing decals. Works like a charm.

Remember, if fitment is tight, you are going to have to fight the fairings on/off every time you change the oil or anything.

Here is a link to the place mentioned. I read that the owner of this place is the brother of the guy who owns www.lite-eyes.com I have to warn you that lite-eyes screwed A LOT of people over on orders (including me) and never refunding the money. I would do a little research before ordering from them. I think they just wait for you order, then order them off of ebay, from what I heard. Don't count on using paypal to get your money back, as it didn't work for me.
